Celebrate
We believe a strong climbing community is a connected one. That’s why we host events that bring people together, celebrate the climbing lifestyle, and support our mission year-round.
International Climbers’ Festival
In 1994, legendary climber, Todd Skinner and a group of local climbers launched the first International Climbers’ Festival here in Lander WY. What began as a small local gathering has grown into the longest-running climbing festival in the world and the flagship event of our organization. The International Climbers’ Festival generates more than $150,000 in local economic impact, according to a 2022 study, and serves as one of our nonprofit’s largest annual fundraisers. Each July, the weekend is filled with climbing, community events, educational opportunities, live music, and plenty of stoke. In 2025, we will celebrate the 32nd International Climbers’ Festival, made possible through the generous support of sponsors including Fremont Toyota, Wild Iris Mountain Sports, and Central Bank & Trust.
